Story Maps est une application où plusieurs modèles sont disponibles pour que quiconque puisse facilement créer une histoire à partir de cartes. Au cours de cette formation, vous apprendrez comment communiquer un récit à travers des cartes. Nous vous enseignerons à choisir le bon modèle de Story Map pour votre objectif, et aussi comment vous pouvez créer le contenu cartographique et visuel. The aim of this workshop is to bring together all the people involved in hyperspectral data processing, generally speaking. By "data" we mean : – Signals, as provided by spectrometers and processed individually – Images, from the ground using microscopes and spectrometers to airborne or satellite sensors, up to astrophysical data – Models: models of the sensors or of the sensed scene, including physical considerations By "processing", we mean everything from the acquisition, the calibration to the analysis (image processing, signal processing, feature extraction, dimension reduction, unmixing and source separation, classification).  

From 18 to 21 September, the European Commission, The Netherlands and Belgium are welcoming you to the 2018 edition of the INSPIRE conference in Antwerp, Belgium.    These are exciting times! Following the digital transition that is firmly taking shape, we now stand on the brink of a green transition. The Paris Agreement on Climate Change fuels the energy transition in the world. Circular economy principles, in which we consider waste to be resources, are increasingly incorporated in local policy. Meanwhile administrations, research institutes and curious and involved citizens monitor the natural environment they live in and care for. At the interface of these different actors lies a fundamental asset of the INSPIRE Directive: the obstacle free sharing of geospatial data and information across all levels of government and borders!   Now that the INSPIRE implementation and numerous (EU) scientific, green and technical initiatives are maturing, time is right to effectively help elevate each other. We can make it work for the common benefit of our societies and the economy. If only we work together!

The European Commission is organising on 13 September 2018 a Workshop on ‘Copernicus and aerial platforms’ to explore how unmanned aerial platforms could potentially complement Earth Observation capabilities in Copernicus. The Copernicus programme currently relies on a set of dedicated satellites (7 Sentinels), as well as contributing missions and in situ capacities to deliver six services (land, atmosphere, climate change, marine environment, emergency management, security). Unmanned aerial platforms, notably UASs, become more and more reliable and robust and are already providing operational Earth observation capacities that could offer, under certain conditions, useful complementarity with satellite-based services. High Altitude Pseudo-Satellites or Platform Systems will operate quasi-stationarily over a fixed point on Earth from weeks to months at very high altitude and will soon provide additional options. The Workshop, hosted in the premises of Eurocontrol in Brussels, will link industry representatives from the space, Earth observation and unmanned aerial systems sectors to look at the existing and upcoming aerial observation capacities and applications, to understand the operational and legal aspects for using unmanned aerial platforms and to capture potential user needs. This event is open and free to registered participants.
