Galileo Academic Session

Op 25 oktober organiseert AM/FM-GIS Belux in samenwerking met FLAGIS en BOLE vzw een 'Academic Session' over Galileo. Eind juli is immers de 26ste satelliet van het Galileo systeem in orbit gegaan. Hiermee is de volledige satelliet constellatie van Galileo bijna compleet. Tijd dus om hier even bij stil te staan. Tijdens de academic session gaan we in op zowel het beleidsaspect, het theoretisch academische alsook de timing van de praktische ontplooiing in de bestaande Belgische RTK netwerken. De sessie gaat door op 25 oktober tussen 19u en 21u in het 'Huis van de Landmeter-expert' in de Noordstraat 76 te 1000 Brussel.

After succesful yearly events since 2015, we have the honour to announce that OSGeo.be and OSM Belgium will organise a next FOSS4G Belgium on 25/10/2018.  Like last years we are eager that Brussels Environment is again hosting the event in the BEL building! As always, feel free to get in touch if you still have any questions related to the event. Terrascope road Show

The Terrascope team hits the road and gives trainings on how to use Terrascope! This workshop ensures you can get started with satellite data from the Copernicus program. You will learn: How earth observation works What you can do with the data (in agriculture, for infrastructure, ...) How to use the Terrascope viewer to explore your environment (view and compare images and products and gain insight into their evolution) The workshop lasts about 2 hours, of which at least half is interactive. So bring along your own laptop or tablet, and get hands-on experience.

The Terrascope team hits the road and gives trainings on how to use Terrascope! This workshop ensures you can get started with satellite data from the Copernicus program.

You will learn:

  • How earth observation works
  • What you can do with the data (in agriculture, for infrastructure, ...)
  • How to use the Terrascope viewer to explore your environment (view and compare images and products and gain insight into their evolution)
