The Terrascope team hits the road and gives trainings on how to use Terrascope! This workshop ensures you can get started with satellite data from the Copernicus program. You will learn: How earth observation works What you can do with the data (in agriculture, for infrastructure, ...) How to use the Terrascope viewer to explore your environment (view and compare images and products and gain insight into their evolution) The workshop lasts about 2 hours, of which at least half is interactive. So bring along your own laptop or tablet, and get hands-on experience.

The European Space Agency (ESA) is organising a Φ-week event focusing on EO Open Science  and FutureEO - to review the latest developments in Open Science trends and kick-start innovative activities of the recently created Φ-department looking at FutureEO, and its associated Φ-lab aiming to identify, support and scale bold EO ideas.The event will be hosted in ESA-ESRIN from 22 to 26 October 2018.   Come and hear about the latest trends in EO! The Φ-week will include a variety of events (e.g. inspiring talks, workshops, roundtables, startup pitch, hackathons) to connect multi-disciplinary communities - from EO researchers, data scientists, non-space corporates, tech leaders, entrepreneurs, up to startup and innovators - to (i) explore together how EO Open Science and innovation can benefit from the latest digital technologies and (ii) help shapeFutureEO missions and services.
