The Agriculture sector can vastly benefit from Copernicus full free and open data and information. The Copernicus programme already interacts with different stakeholders from the agricultural sector and the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service has a number of information products which can be relevant for the Agriculture domain. However, the full potential of the Copernicus programme in support of agriculture can be further developed and exploited. The aim of the workshop is to address the possible role of the private (downstream) sector for possible solutions, integrating Copernicus data and Copernicus services´ information, in support of the agricultural end-users at the different levels: international, European and Member States' level. The event is open and free to registered participants.

FOSDEM is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas and collaborate. Every year, thousands of developers of free and open source software from all over the world gather at the event in Brussels. No registration necessary   For the fourth time there will be a Geospatial devroom and will be happening on Sunday 4/2/2018 Geospatial technologies and mapping used to be specialist work, but nowadays location and maps are becoming part of many projects/applications, which usually use only a small subset of the possibilities the data and software offer. The geospatial devroom is the place to talk about open, geo-related data and software and their ecosystem. The Belgian Earth Observation Day (BEODAY) is an annual event where the results of research in the domain of Earth observation, mainly carried out within the framework of the STEREO (Support to Exploitation and Research in Earth Observation), are presented and where the Belgian remote sensing community has ample opportunity to network.
