SmeSpire is an FP7 Support Action aiming to turn the challenges of the INSPIRE implementation into business opportunities for the geo-ICT European Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
This smeSpire training programme aims to prepare the GI users/professionals – both beginners and advanced – coming from the commercial sector (SMEs), governmental sector or academic sector to become proficient and successful in implementing INSPIRE. The objective is to help to mature the geospatial professional’s skills and knowledge regarding INSPIRE implementation activities and regarding innovative subjects, which than – in turn - can lead to the creation of (business) opportunities.
Timing and Location: All seminars take place in Auditorium De Molen, Kasteelpark Arenberg 50 3001 Leuven, Belgium

January – April 2014: Advanced seminars or Training sessions
November 2013 – April 2014: Innovation Seminars
